Q: If we agree that Diet Coke is evil because it makes people’s bodies think they are getting a sweet/makes the body prepare for a sugar rush by releasing insulin, aren’t PWT1D the *only* people who can drink Diet Coke w. no problem since no insulin will be produced?

Q: How can someone with Type 2 diabetes become/remain fat? If the cells are insulin resistant, how can they metabolize glucose & store it as fat?

A: (I can not find the answer to this.)

Q: Do I have to pay taxes on money my child received for being a TrialNet test subject?

    My child received money for a trial. He received a 1099 but didn’t earn enough in the year to have to file taxes (maybe you had a better paying trial). I do not claim that as MY income.

      I do not understand the world. I sent my whole pile to our accountant. On the boy’s 1099 from Yale I wrote in big letters AGE TWELVE, thinking that might…? I don’t even know.
