Kind person in comment mention this lavash = good pizza base. Quick! Jack make for after school snack. 3.5g CHO/slice.
After School Miracle
Oven + pizza stone. Heat to 500F.
1 lavash: cut into 4 pieces. (Each piece = net 2 g CHO)
Spread 1T this sauce on each piece (=1.5g CHO per T)

My Napoli
Sprinkle on shredded cheese from a bag (=0g CHO) or cheese you shred yourself if you’re fancy, or ripped-up string cheese. I don’t think this crust could handle buffalo mozzarella
Slide on to the dangerously hot pizza stone. Bake until cheese melts
Eat. Love. They like it! They really like it!
(Bigfoot not taste this pizza because still bad cold, only drink lemon cayenne concoction from vegan health guru neighbor.)

I had to ask him to eat a piece of chocolate afterwards, because I’d told him to bolus for 10g. Which was too much. For two slices of pizza. (“Pizza.”)

Pizza was here. Gone thisfast.
Valentine’s Day!
Tomorrow!

I want that! Sorry you’re sick. Have you tried putting Vicks on your feet? I read somewhere that it helps you fight a cold. I’ve never tried it though, because when I’m sick, I don’t have the energy for that kind of nonsense.
my mother told me to do the vicks on my feet (then put socks on), honestly I don’t think it helped me… but I also couldn’t take any meds really (other than “diabetussin”) and was a total miserable hag so… for all I know I may have suffocated that night without vicks on my feet!
This Pizza is definitely on my to make list! glorious!
I’m going to send my husband out for Vick’s. And please tell me if you make/eat this pizza, Paws! I am so curious about low-carb breads. I can’t imagine I would like them. My boy also had some “carb style” pepperidge farms bread for his PB&nutella sandwich today—he liked it! It felt eerily rubbery to me.
yeah, a lot of the low carb bread stuff has a weird texture… I try to just go high fiber and not eat too much of it. I will def. let you know about the pizza, Lavish bread is pretty good, especially cooked. It makes a great quesadilla
I am excited at the idea of personal pizza, Marshall doesn’t eat tomatos (or tomato products i.e. red sauce) and I miss real pizza!
This “pizza” is the bomb. Glad he likes it.
thank you thank you thank you.
the non-D boy loved it too!
maybe i will too?
Yummy. Great idea! I will have to try this. We make little pizzas with sandwich thins (made by Arnold), which are good for little hands, but they are 8.5 net CHO per half. This is impressively low carb!
I will get this lavash bread. Never imagined carbs could be so low. Good for all kinds of recipes. There are lots of low carb tortillas in our area that are tasty, but around 8 grams a tortilla, not 3. What a find! Thanks for sharing.
