Happy cosy December times. It Bigfoot cocoa recipe.

My children think this is good. Swiss Miss Sensible Sweets Diet hot cocoa is not worthwhile without whipped cream. I tasted this concoction. It was OK.
INGREDIENTS:
Swiss Miss Diet Hot Cocoa packet (4g CHO)
1/2 c boiling hot water (0)
1/4c unsweetened coconut or almond milk (1g CHO)
1/2c whipped cream from a can (4g CHO)
merest whisper (1/2 tsp) Hershey’s Lite reduced sugar chocolate syrup (1g CHO)
METHOD:
Pour the contents of the cocoa packet into a not-too-large mug. (Not too large mug = the conservative portion of whipped cream makes a grander impression.)
Whisk in the boiling water. The cocoa mix is not eager to dissolve. You’ve really got to work at this. You can do this.
When the powder is reasonably dissolved, add the (cold) milk. (Prevents tongue burns.)
Top with whipped cream and syrup.
NOTE: 1/4c cow milk adds 2g more CHO
ALSO: Ten g CHO. <–Look like name for fictional rival Thich Nhat Hanh.

Looks good… looks are at least half the battle for kids, right? I’m sure you’ve heard of it, but you know you can make whipped cream out of just coconut milk, right? If you beat it with a beater and stick it in the fridge overnight, the next morning the top will be thick. Not quite as thick as whipped cream, but about like cool whip.
I did not know that! That sounds delicious, and very Thai?
Thank you and I will be trying this!
Did you see this deliciousness on Diabetes Light? I want to try it myself, and I can metabolize carbs like a rock star!
