omg we were on vacation in chicago last week and at the deep dish pizze place i saw a teenager dude get up out of the booth next to us with some tubing poking out of his back pocket so L TOTALLY DID THE SAME THING AS BUBS. “hey mom, we’ve been walking around so much, MAYBE I NEED TO CHANGE MY BASAL!” and “i want to make sure i BOLUSED CORRECTLY FOR MY MEAL” ahahaha. he didn’t hear our loud diabetes-related buzzwords but when he turned to look at us i made a crazy face and gestured to L’s pump. he excitedly pulled his out and we had a quick chat about medtonic before his family had to leave. love it!
